One of the premier destinations in Wanli township, the northern Taiwan, the costal line in Yehliu Geopark is stretching in a direction vertical to the layer and the structure line; besides, the influences caused by wave attack and rock weathering all contribute to the formation of such a rare and stunning geological landscape including weathered fossils, ginger rock, sea--eroded trenches and potholes appearing queen’s head rock, mushroom rocks, cuesta, fairy shoe and bean curd rocks. In addition, Yehliu is the cape stretching into the sea from mountain forming lots of worldwide sea-erosion spectacle like the magical relics left behind by deities in the world. Due to the rather soft limestone composition of the rock layers, this area is prone to erosion from a combination of seawater, wave, and wind forces and of course time. The constant effect of these factors over time has resulted in a geological and breathtaking landscape.

Yin Yang Sea – the special spectacle of yellowblue seawater is viewed as one of gorgeous geographical spectacle within northeast coastal district formed by natural phenomenon carrying abundant minerals downstream along the river rather than waste water discharge. Causing a vivid contrast in color while the golden seawater compares to the normal turquoise ocean is the reason why it becomes known nationwide.
Above Yin Yang Sea, 13-Layer copper refinery had been established as in 1933 and boasts one of the world's longest concrete pipeline ventilation systems. For the past few years, it has experienced a boost in tourism. The abandoned13-Layer copper refinery is alive again with enthusiastic visitors who are keen to explore the surreal remains of bygone days that whisper the history of prosperity and decline that seems like「Pompeii ancient city」.
Jiufen Old Street – Jiufen remained the Japanese style architecture attracting tons of tourists and featured lots of narrow stone paved roads which were the major gateway for the local residents and full of nostalgic stores and local dishes, especially the shaved ice with taro balls. It's really just one long covered lane divided into three alleys. The horizontal alleys contain Qingbian Road., Jishan Street where centered as local dishes. The vertical alley is Shuqi Road. These three alleys combined a real story village worth of being explored by visitors.

Shifen District is the most rural and wild tourist attraction in Taipei City. Shifen Tourist Service Center aims to make all the visitors have a nice day in Pingxi and easily feel hilarious and diversified Shifen Old Street full of food shops and sky lantern art and craft shops, such as Hakka printed cloth or video postcard. (Experience to release the Sky Lantern here)
Shifen District is well known for the Shifen Waterfall, a 40 metre tall waterfall that creates a rainbow as it splashes into the lake, widely regarded as the most scenic in all of Taiwan. The steam above waterfall is reflected through sun light forming a shimmering landscape. Because of its horseshoe shape and powerful flow, it is nicknamed the Little Niagara of Taiwan. Recessed within a beautiful forested mountainside setting, this waterfall often delights visitors with a bright rainbow on sunny days. Its colorful spectacle has also lent the waterfall its other nickname of “Rainbow Pond”. At various points along the river, the uneven flow of the water creates vortexes that trap passing rocks, causing them to spin and carve deep holes under the Shifen Waterfall and even completely presents the breathtaking scenery.
