※Sun Moon Lake bike route around the lake is recommended to depart from the Shuishe Visitor Center. The total length of the carriageway is about 29 KM. It takes about three hours. When you go biking along Sun Moon Lake Highway, you will pass famous attractions such as Wenwu Temple, Peacock Garden and Sun Moon Lake Youth Activity Center etc. When you are tired, you can also take Sun Moon Lake round-trip bus or take a boat back to the point of departure.

※Sun Moon Lake bike route around the lake: Shuishe Visitor Center - Chaowu Wharf - Wenwu Temple - Peacock Garden - Youth Activity Center - Ita Thao - Xuanzang Temple - Xuanguang Temple - No. 1 Tunnel -Toushe - Shuishe Dam - Shuishe Visitor Center - Shuishe Pier. Of which, Xuanzang Temple to Shuishe tunnel section is steep due to the steep slope, please be aware of bike safety.
